Quesadilla with Grilled Steak...This was a good meal. The guacamole and salsa were very tasty as well. I appreciate that the salsa was not sugary and that it had some spice/heat from the fresh jalapeños. Service was prompt and friendly. My meal came to $25 (including $5 tip).

This was so good! The horchata was delicious and didn’t have a lot of sweet less it was sweet but not too sweet. The food tasted homemade. The views were gorgeous. What a hidden little Mexican gem.

We looked for a dog friendly restaurant when driving through. It was a great stop. There’s nothing fancy about this place and you have to walk through weeds to get to the patio, but the food was delicious and staff was warm and generous. I enjoyed a combo with a cheese enchilada and ground beef. The rice and beans were yum. My husband had carne asada burrito with rice and beans. He mentioned something about wanting to lick the plate, but he didn’t. Good stuff. Let’s not overlook the chips and salsa. They were fabulous too!

Some of the best Mexican food I have had in a long time. There was a lot of care in preparing the food. I had Dolores crispy tacos: excellent crispy chili rellenos. Spouse had chicken fajitas. The chicken was well flavored but a tiny bit dry. Good margaritas and delicious flan. Wish we lived closer!

We stopped in for a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon and we were happy we did , the food was great. the salsa has a fresh taste with just a good little kick. The chicken mole enchiladas were delicious! Best I had in Colorado. They have some unique menu options on their menu, one was crispy chilie relleno and a regular relleno. We tried both. The crispy one was very good, and crispy, however it didn’t have the depth of flavor that the regular one did. We would definitely return.

We shared the three combo dinner which had a chimichanga, burrito and a tostada. It was very good and a lot of food. The food came out very quickly and was very warm. I would give them five stars, but I thought three dollars was kind of pricey for a small dollop of sour cream and guacamole and the bill came and it was four dollars. The restaurant and restrooms were very clean. I would come back here to eat again.

This is a great little spot in Dolores. Their food and aguas frescas are delicious, and we appreciated the shade cloth over the patio. Dogs are allowed on the patio, as well, which makes this a perfect place to go after a hike with the pup!

After driving scenic but remote 145, you arrive at Dolores, the small town where this small restaurant is. Cozy and classic Mexican atmosphere, the food does not disappoint. In fact, it was great, for us. We went there in the summer, so we sat outside on the patio. Service was great, no complaints, and a welcome place to have a meal after a long scenic drive, with no other towns on the way.
